PE & SPORT PREMIUM

The Primary School Sports Funding is additional government money to improve P.E. and sports provision. The use of this will be assessed as part of the Ofsted judgement on the quality of the school’s leadership and management.

The overall aim of the funding is to promote the development of healthy and active lifestyles. It also aims to promote more traditional competitive sports by improving the quality and provision of P.E. in Primary Schools.

This funding is aimed at improving quality physical education and ensuring that children are engaged in high quality physical activity, enabling them the opportunity to access more competitions.
